Of course! Sorry, I've been away on holiday for the past couple of weeks, but yeah, it's a bit like facebook - some people have Friends Only journals, which means that most entries are locked and only friends can see them, and require that you comment/get to know them before friending. Other journals are open, and you can friend freely, though it is a courtesy to comment anyway. Most people have a 'friending policy' on their profile pages, but we're all pretty friendly. :D
