I love that he just immediately began calling us minions. This is a man with no small experience in the socially naturalized behaviours of fandom, methinks.
I don't know. It's one of the supreme mysteries of the universe I think. I just started following his twitter and read the backlogs and I have to stifle my laughter because I'm in the library but otherwise I would be laughing quite loudly because seriously how so awesome?!
Back when it happened, I was absolutely aghast that someone was actually thinking about sending him a book of fic. Now, I have a good feeling that if it happened, he'd find a colossal joke, would read it completely tongue in cheek and quote his favorite (bad) passages on twitter with biting commentary.
Oh man, I'm a firm believer in keeping a line between fandom and the people involved in a show, in the sense that I don't want wank and whining to influence the vision of the writers or impede the actors. See: the killing off of female characters because some vocal morons mouthed off. Ugh.
BUT. Misha is my sparkly happy place, and while I think actually giving him a book of other people's fic is way out of line, I am by now firmly convinced that the man is a secret BNF or something.
